Oberhofen Castle

A picturesque romantic castle lies directly on Lake Thun which makes it a real charm on the water!

The castle is located on the shore of Lake Thun. It was built in 13th-century, but numerous additions were made over the centuries, which led to a mix of architectural elements.

The present appearance dates back to the 19th-century when the castle was acquired by the Pourtàles family, who restored it.

The castle today serves as a museum and a historic stylish venue for special occasions such as weddings and family celebrations to seminars and company events.
